Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen is an American singer songwriter model and actress from St. Louis Missouri. She is known for playing Jenny Humphrey as part of the CW drama Gossip Girl, and also as the singer in the rock group The Pretty Reckless. The music of Momsen is used in television and film shows such as How to Be Single, Going the Distance and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen is a 26-year old actress who was born on July 26 in 1993. She has a younger sister named Sloane Momsen. She was a dancer in the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. She began acting professionally at three years of age in a 1997 national commercial for Shake and Bake. Momsen's professional career came to slow halt for three years, until she landed her first lead role on the WB program Misconceptions. Momsen did also appear at that time in the film Saving Shiloh (2006). Additionally, she was among the top three candidates for Hannah Montana's title role. However, Miley Cyrus was awarded the role.
